Donna McMillan
I'm Donna McMillan and my love of helping people tell their stories came about once I started as a researcher and reporter for the television programme Country Calendar. I spent four years travelling New Zealand capturing people's lives, and a highlight was winning a journalism award for my story about a 24 year old female running a high country station. I've worked in television production for TVNZ, written for a horticultural magazine, and have researched for the NZ Embassy in Indonesia as well as editing and writing for an expatriate magazine.
It's important to get these stories and pictures on video - capturing your memories to share with family as a living record for them and future generations to treasure.
